The One Thing.

Focus creates expansion.

This book guides you towards real results that affect everything in all areas of your work, your family relationships, friendships, diet, sleep patterns and health. Adding more projects without cutting others dooms your results. Focus is a matter of deciding what things you’re NOT going to do. When you prioritize your primary task, everything else falls into line, like dominoes. Above all else, you’ll walk away with greater clarity on how to create a life of purpose, priority, and productivity.

We want less.

We want less stress. We want fewer things to distract us. With today's constant bombardment from all kinds of technologically induced communication, as well as busyness from meetings, work, and responsibilities of personal life, we get tired. The results are that we don't handle any of it well; the quality of our work declines, we miss deadlines, our paychecks get smaller, and our promotions don't happen. But we also want more. We want increased productivity from work. We want more income so we can improve our lifestyle. We want life satisfaction. We want more time to spend on ourselves, with our families, and with our friends. Having both less and more is not mutually exclusive!

In the book, authors Gary Keller and Jay Papasan reveal that successful people go small.

They don’t try to do everything at once, but rather focus their attention and energy on the one activity that will yield the most reward. Successful people don’t focus on all they could do. They focus on what they should do.

You'll learn to
* Cut through the clutter
* Achieve better results in less time
* Build momentum toward your goal
* Dial down the stress
* Overcome that overwhelmed feeling
* Revive your energy
* Stay on track
* Master what matters to you
