This tool helps you to calibrate your emotional, physical and mental energy levels during your week. Inspired by a conversation with Dieter Fabisch.

What do you get out of it?

  1. You learn to listen to your body and soul

  2. You reflect and interpret your energy levels

  3. You learn to decide when you want to change something

How does it work?

There are just 3 simple steps to do every day.

Step 1: Reflect on 3 different energy levels each day

Emotional Energy

  • How did your emotional energy level feel today?

  • How did you react and engage with other people?



Physical Energy

  • How did your physical energy level feel today?

  • Have you been tiered? How was it to get out of bed?

  • Have you had any pain? How did that feel?



Mental Energy

  • How did your mental energy level feel today?

  • How was it to concentrate today?

  • How did you achieve your goals today?



Step 2: Rate your energy levels

Write down your rating based on your reflection from Step 1.

Use a rating from 1-4 where 1 is the lowest energy level and 4 is the highest energy level.

This could look like this:

Step 3: Write down the answers to the following questions next to your daily rating

  1. What happened today?

  2. What will I change?


Why do we recommend it?

Knowing yourself is the most important part of leadership. Before you are able to lead other people effectively you need to be able to lead yourself first.

Knowing yourself and being able to see yourself from different perspectives will give you the opportunity to change things and validate your changes going forward.

It will take you less than 5 minutes every day, give it a try and tell us how it went.
